From Brazil to the factory in China.

Manhattan accompanies Brazilian companies on purchases in China: it prepares the research, sets the agenda of fairs and factories, goes along on the visits and follows up after the trip, until the goods arrive.

The person in charge has walked the route.

The China Route belongs to MRW Global Business, the group's foreign trade brand, with contract and invoice issued by Manhattan. It is led by Márcio Willemberg, founder of Manhattan, who went on the mission to China and the Canton Fair in 2025.

On the trip he personally accompanies the client: he joins the meetings, checks what the factory shows and helps separate what is promised from what is proven.

Brazil's largest trading partner, in official figures.

China is the main destination of Brazilian exports and the largest source of its imports. Anyone who buys or sells on this route needs a method.

Eight phases, before, during and after.

Each phase has a person in charge and leaves a document. The client decides. The team prepares, accompanies and records.

Canton Fair 2027: two editions, three phases each.

China's largest trade fair is held in Guangzhou twice a year. The phase chosen defines what a buyer finds, so that choice comes before the flight.

  • 141st edition

    Spring 2027

Dates to be published by the organizer.

  • 142nd edition

    Autumn 2027

Dates to be published by the organizer.

The organizer has not yet published the official 2027 dates. We confirm the calendar before any booking.

What each phase usually covers

  • Phase 1

Electronics, household appliances, lighting, machinery, hardware, vehicles and energy.

  • Phase 2

Consumer goods, housewares, gifts, decoration, building materials and furniture.

  • Phase 3

Textiles, clothing, footwear, food, health products and stationery.

The division changes from year to year. We check it against the official catalog of each edition.

Not every purchase goes through Guangzhou.

Depending on the product, the route changes city. These are fairs that come into the conversation, and the calendar of each one is checked before the agenda is set.

  • CIIE

    Shanghai

China's import fair. Of interest to those who want to sell to the Chinese market.

  • SIAL China

    Shanghai

Food and beverages, of interest to agro and to those who import ingredients.

  • CMEF

    Shanghai and other cities

Medical and hospital equipment and products.

  • Yiwu Fair

    Yiwu

Consumer goods and small commodities, in a city known for wholesale.

The right factory often has the right address.

China produces in hubs by sector. These are examples of where the route may go, always starting from the product the client wants to buy.

  • Guangdong

    Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan

Electronics, lighting, furniture and household appliances.

  • Zhejiang

    Yiwu, Ningbo

    Consumer goods, hardware and components.

  • Jiangsu

    Suzhou, Wuxi

    Machinery, equipment and textiles.

  • Shanghai

    Shanghai and surroundings

A center for business, trade fairs and larger suppliers.

Ten checks before the first order.

The script applied to each supplier, on a visit or at a distance. Nothing goes on the list without passing through it.

The factory-or-trader test

  • 贵公司是工厂还是贸易公司?Is your company a factory or a trading company?
  • 可以视频验厂吗?Can we inspect the factory by video?
  • 营业执照可以发一下吗?Could you send your business license?

On the first purchase

A sample, a pilot order, inspection before shipment, secure payment, a bilingual contract, a check of the documents and a trusted freight agent.

  1. The company's business license.
  2. Registration in China's national enterprise credit system and in databases such as Qichacha or Tianyancha.
  3. The factory address, checked on the map.
  4. A video of the factory.
  5. A video call over WeChat.
  6. Export references.
  7. A sample.
  8. A contracted inspection.
  9. The supplier's certificates and those required in Brazil.
  10. The right Incoterm for the operation.

Work by day, China by night.

A trip like this also broadens the view. The itinerary sets aside time to see how the country works: the cities, the wholesale centers, the logistics and the food, in a small group.

Sample itinerary

  1. Day 1Arrival in Guangzhou, rest and an alignment meeting.
  2. Days 2 to 4The fair, with a route through the pavilions and supplier records.
  3. Days 5 and 6Visits to the selected factories in the region.
  4. Day 7A negotiation meeting and a wholesale center.
  5. Day 8Time in the city and a review of the trip before returning.

An illustrative example. Each route is built from the purpose of the purchase.

What we do not promise.

  • We do not sell tickets, hotels or travel packages. The traveler buys them directly or through an agency of their choice.
  • Price, lead time and acceptance depend on each manufacturer, and a visit depends on its permission.
  • We do not represent a manufacturer in a client's negotiation without saying so. Any link is disclosed beforehand.
  • Nothing on this page is an investment offer or a promise of results.

Do I need to know exactly what I want to buy?

You do not need a supplier, but you do need a purpose. The first phase exists to turn the idea into a technical sheet.

Does Márcio really go along?

Yes, that is the point of the China Route: personal accompaniment at the fairs, at the factories and in the meetings, according to the agreed agenda.

How much does it cost?

The amount comes in the proposal, after the diagnostic conversation, because it depends on the purpose, the length of the trip and the number of people. Tickets and hotels are paid by the traveler.

Can I go only to the fair, without visiting factories?

Yes. The route is built around the purpose. It can also be done without a trip, with Manhattan Global Trade carrying out the research and validation at a distance.

Who handles the visa and the fair accreditation?

Each traveler is responsible for their own visa and passport, and we explain the path and the documents. Fair accreditation is done in the organizer's official system.

Let's map your route.

Tell us what you want to buy or sell. We reply within 2 business days, and the diagnostic conversation carries no cost.
