Who handles your data

MANHATTAN CONSULTORIA E EMPREENDIMENTOS LTDA, a Brazilian company, is the controller of the personal data collected on this website, under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais, LGPD).

What we collect and why

Service requests: name, company or organization, role, email, phone, city and state, your answers about your needs, your message and how you reached the site (campaign or referring website). We use them to reply, to sort the request, to prepare a proposal and to let you follow its status. Legal bases: consent and steps prior to a contract, taken at your request.

Magazine and new-material alerts: name, email, company, area of interest and how you reached the site, to send the Manhattan Magazine and to tell you when new materials are published. Legal basis: consent.

Paid technical consulting hour: name, email and the payment details entered in Stripe's checkout, to process the payment and prepare the call. Card details stay with Stripe and never reach Manhattan. Legal basis: performance of a contract at your request.

Browsing: aggregated access data (pages viewed, device, country), without personal identification and without tracking cookies, to measure the site's performance. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

We do not collect sensitive data and we do not use advertising cookies.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers that make the site work, and only as needed: hosting (Vercel), email delivery (Resend), payment of the technical consulting hour (Stripe) and the workspace where our team receives and answers requests and sign-ups (Notion). Data may be processed outside Brazil, under the conditions the LGPD sets for international transfers. We do not sell or hand over data to third parties.

How long we keep it

Messages and requests that do not lead to an engagement are kept for a limited period, stated in the Portuguese version. Those that lead to an engagement are kept for the term of the contract and for any retention periods required by law. Online access to a request is temporary and ends after a period without updates, also stated in the Portuguese version. Magazine and material sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

At any time, you may ask for confirmation that your data is processed, access, correction, anonymization, deletion, portability and information about sharing, and you may withdraw your consent, as provided in the LGPD. Write to central@manhattan.net.br. You may also petition the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

Requests for confirmation and access are answered within the period set by the LGPD.

Security

We adopt reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect data, including an encrypted connection, restricted access to the messages we receive and request access codes stored only in encrypted form, so that they cannot be read.

Children and adolescents

This website is intended for companies and organizations. We do not knowingly collect data from children or adolescents.

Changes

This policy may be updated. The effective date at the top of the Portuguese version indicates the version in force.
